CRITERIA: Add work space with a major change to existing layout or character of kitchen.

The kitchen is small and part of a historic home. Additional workspace needed to be wedged into the small available space.

The top is a 2 1/4 inch thick workbench top bought at a local woodworkers supply. A drawer and storage were designed into the workspace.
